Any poetry by Belton published?

Does any one know if any of Belton's poetry was published?  I greatly appreciated having the chance to read it in the folders, not just what Erika suggested but other poems and short stories as well.   I took a quick look around and couldn't find much of his that is published.  Am I missing something?

I especially love the beautiful poem for James Baldwin and would love to show it to my partner, but I have been good and have not shown it to anyone.  It seems tragic to me that these beautiful poems are not published (if that is the case, in fact).

  1. No, this poetry is unpublished. Erika will probably say more about this tomorrow, but ihs published work is quite slim: a novel, Almost Midnight, Don Belton is the author of the novel, Almost Midnight (Morrow: 1986), an anthology, Speak My Name: Black Men on Masculinity and the American Dream (Beacon: 1996)´, and short stories in different places.
